ONESTOP SERVICE

Integrated production from design to commissioning of large industrial gears, and full after-sales service after delivery

Our strength lies in our ability to design optimal gearing systems based on the trust and achievements we have built up over our more than 100-year history in business. We are also able to maintain high quality by integrating machining, assembly, and test operation within the company. Furthermore, our flexible after-sales service system allows us to respond quickly to customer needs.

SERVICE Integrated production system for gearboxes

  • Design of gearboxes

    Design of gearboxes

In addition to the experience and know-how we have accumulated over our more than 100-year history, we utilize the latest technologies, such as 3D CAD and analysis, to create higher value-added designs. We do not merely draw drawings; we position ourselves at the top of the manufacturing process and work to demonstrate the strength of our in-house integrated system.

  • Manufacturing

    Manufacturing

Gears, which are an important part of the gear system, are manufactured by lathing and gear cutting. The gears are finished by gear grinding. To maintain the quality of the gear system, all gears are measured by a gear measuring machine to ensure that they meet the required accuracy in units of ㎛. In order to provide high quality gear units, we also thoroughly control the temperature in the factory.

  • Assembly

    Assembly

Assembles the gear unit. Various tasks are involved, such as tempering the gears, checking tooth contact, final adjustment of parts, and tightening bolts. We use ring heaters of various sizes for hardening gears and bolt tensioners for tightening bolts to ensure that each operation is carried out carefully and accurately. It is important to fully understand the structure of the gears when performing assembly work.

  • Test run

    Test run

After the assembly of the gear unit is completed, a test run is performed. During the several hours of no-load test runs, we measure temperature, noise, vibration, and other parameters to confirm that there are no abnormalities. In addition to the trial run, we also conduct a final inspection as the final process within the company to ensure the quality of the gear system.

  • After-sales service

    After-sales service

Many of the gears we have delivered to customers have been used for many years. In recent years, we have been receiving an increasing number of requests for overhauls and supervising. In order to respond to such needs, we have put a lot of effort into after-sales service and have a flexible system in place to respond to such needs.

RELIABLE AFTER-SALES SERVICE

  • Arrangement of built-in and consumable items

We will make new arrangements for built-in parts and consumables for gears that have been used for a long time. The scope of arrangement will be determined upon consultation, but we can handle only consumable parts such as bearings and oil seals, as well as complete built-in parts including gears. We will also consider some arrangements for very old gears if they were manufactured by our company, so please contact us.

  • Overhaul

The gears are sent back to our factory and overhauled by us. Since the work is performed by our employees at our factory, it is safe and reliable, and even if unexpected wear or damage is found, we can respond quickly.

  • Supervise

When it is difficult to send large gears back to our factory, our employees will go to the customer’s factory as supervisors to provide overhaul instructions. We have a track record of dispatching supervisors to customer factories not only in Japan but also around the world.
